Caring for your Match Pewter

In general, all pewter tarnishes very slowly and requires almost no maintenance. should you want to polish your Match pewter, almost any metal polish will do. (read the container before you purchase.)
To clean your pewter after using it to serve food, hand wash in warm water with a liquid dish soap. Be sure to dry the pewter completely. Water allowed to dry on your pewter may cause spots. If spots occur, they can be easily removed by polishing or, believe it or not, by gently rubbing the area in small circular motions with "0000" steel wool
